Jo began competing 12 years ago with her first agility dog Ellie (Agility Champion Ellie De Lyston) a Staffordshire bull terrier cross who took her from Beginners to Advanced. Ellie and Jo had many fantastic agility achievements together including, competing in the Agility Stakes Final at Olympia, Ellie won the Agility Championship Final at Crufts 2008, represented Great Britain at the 2010 European Open in Czech Republic where they won a Team Bronze Medal. They won the Eukanuba Mini/Mixi Pairs at Crufts and took the Medium Crufts Singles title in 2010.

Bitz (Cascades Itsy Blitzy) was Jo’s second dog and took her into large competition. A Bearded collie and Border collie cross that on reaching Grade 7, had some great results including: competing at the Olympia on multiple occasions, Reserve Champion Certificates, UKA Masters and Grand Prix Champion. Internationally they have represented Great Britain at the 2011 European Open in Austria where the pair qualified for Individual final and gained 9th place and best GB result. They qualified for and came 4th in the Dania cup Final in Denmark. But Bitz excelled World Agility Open Championship at standard height becoming Individual World Champion in Pentathlon in 2012; also taking bronze in 2013 and most recently a silver medal in 2015, running without a single fault for the five rounds. In 2012 the pair also won an individual bronze medal in Biathlon. Being also regularly selected to run in the team event they helped Team England gain gold and two silver medals, again with her running without a fault, taking her medal tally to seven!

Tuesday (Darleyfalls Dr Dangerous) a border collie has been to Olympia as both a novice and senior dog, won UKA Masters competition and in 2015 won a Reserve Championship Certificate. Brite (Ensorcell Back in Black) is Jo’s latest addition and she has been working on her foundation skills and moving towards beginning her agility career in 2016.

As well as teaching and seminar presenting, Jo completed her Canine Massage Diploma to further her understanding of the Canine athlete’s body and her ability to help maintain her own dogs.
